This guide will help you configure Unity to upload assets to your spaces !

To be able to use Unity, you need to create an account. Unity Register Page
Unity Hub is needed to manage Unity installations and Unity Projects https://public-cdn.cloud.unity3d.com/hub/prod/UnityHubSetup.exe
If Unity says that you don't have an active license, do these steps.
From Unity Hub (3.x.x +):
Click on your icon (top left)
Select "Manage Licenses"
Click on the "ADD" button (top right)
Click on "Get A Free Personal License"
Download Unity 2019.2.21 (No other version are compatible) https://download.unity3d.com/download_unity/9d528d026557/Windows64EditorInstaller/UnitySetup64.exe
Install 7-Zip (7-zip.org), it's an open source file compression/decompression software. We use it because it solve problems and perform better than windows build in "zip". https://iwo.nyc3.digitaloceanspaces.com/Public/7zip.exe
Download the template project. https://iwo.nyc3.digitaloceanspaces.com/Public/IWO_Template.7z
Move the downloaded file to desired location
We recommend to work in your "Documents" folder if you use any Cloud Sync.
( e.g. Create the folder UnityProjects
in C:\Users\Denevraut\Documents
)
( Tip: Just type %userprofile%\Documents
in your windows search-bar)
Extract the archive file ( IWO_Template.7z )
Windows 11 - Right click on the file -> Show more options -> 7-Zip -> Extract here
Windows 10 - Right click on the file -> 7-Zip -> Extract here
( Info: Once extracted, it is just a normal Unity project)
( Tip: Keep the "IWO_Template.7z" file for future new projects)
From unity HUB, click "Open" button and go to the project template location.
( Tip: type %userprofile%\Documents
if you used Documents location)
Make sure the selected folder contain the "Assets" folder. Don't sellect the Asset folder, but just make sure the open one contain "Asset"
Once the project template is open, you can register an account from the uploader tool.
Select the uploader in the demo scene "IWO Upload Example" and go the the inspector window.
From the inspector window you should see the "IWO_Upload_Space" UI. Press on Register.
Enter a unique username, email and password then press Register. ( Debug: If you get "ERROR 500", your username or email could be already used)
Go to your mailbox and past the activation code the the "Email Code Activation Section" then press activation.
The project template normally open the scene "IWO Demo Scene". ( Info: A scene is like a sub project, you can have multiple scenes in a Unity Project)
Select the IWO Upload Example GameObject, and go to the "Inspector Tab".
From the inspector tab, login to your IWO account if needed.
You will probably see that no space is assigned to this uploader. In this case, click on Config Menu.
You will see new sections:
My Licenses : List of your owned licenses, with one license you can rent one space.
Region List : The region you want to rent a space from.
Available Spaces : Available spaces in the selected region.
A new account normally don't have
The template project come with a preinstalled version of IWO Toolkit
To update, download the file above and double click on it while the project is open. https://iwo.nyc3.digitaloceanspaces.com/Public/IWO_TOOLKIT.unitypackage
On this link you will find assets we made for IncrediWorlds users. * Our assets are free to use/edit only inside IncrediWorlds.
* Note Please limit your upload asset size to (20m x 20m) due to limited space. And try to avoid more than 10mb, the network is not super fast worldwide yet
